Mary Moore

Madison - Mary Isabel Moore, age 99, passed away at St. Mary's Care Center on September 15, 2013. She was born January 21, 1914 in Dunn Township, Wisconsin. The daughter of Harry and Laura Hoskins Moore.
Mary attended Door Creek School McFarland, Starr School Stoughton, and graduated from Stoughton High School. After school she worked as a Secretary for many places. Most Recent was the Law Firm of Fowler and Wiederhoeft of Madison, Wisconsin.
Mary was a resident of Madison since 1958. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Susan Bauernfeing Circle, and Wisconsin Outers. She was also active in 4-h as a youth.
Mary is survived by three nieces Jeanne Stark, Margery (Donald) Clark, and Linda (Jim) Frilling, two nephews Dennis (Jill) Stark and Larry (Kristine) Twining, 14 great grand nieces and nephews and 14 great-great grand nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her second cousin Jennifer Troy and many other cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, great niece Bethany, brother in-laws and sister in-laws Leland and Evelyn Twining, Ruben and Doris Stark.
Celebration of Mary's Life will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1123 Vilas Ave, Madison, WI on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Stoughton at 2p.m. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
