Mary Nicholson

Madison -Mary Alice "Mae" Nicholson - age 76 passed away on February 22, 2012 following a courageous battle with cancer at Agrace HospiceCare. Mae was born in Brooksville, Noxubee County, Mississippi on January 16, 1936, the daughter of Sammie and Azalene (Harris) Jones. In 1962, she moved to Madison and began working at Oscar Mayer for 35 years until her retirement in 1997. Mae spend many years traveling, enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She was a lively spirit, offered a helping hand to others and was a wealth of wisdom and great advice. She was beloved by all and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington Ave., on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.
