Mary Potter

Mary Ann Potter (Weis), of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2023 after a long illness. Born and raised in Galena, Illinois, she worked as a registered nurse in Galena, Yosemite National Park, Minneapolis, Minnesota and, for most of her career, at the American Red Cross in Madison. She loved to do counted cross stitch, bake and travel. Her loving kindness will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband Robert, son Seth, and brothers Richard and Roger Weis. She is preceded in death by her brother Nicholas Weis.

Mary Ann will be brought to her final place of rest in a private ceremony at Natural Path Sanctuary in Verona, WI.
