Mary Ryan

WAUNAKEE-Mary Ryan, age 70, went home to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on January 11, 2014.

She was born in Austin, Minnesota on April 29, 1943, to Robert and Delphine(George) Thill of Rose Creek, Minnesota. She graduated in 1965 from Viterbo College in LaCrosse, Wisconsin with a B.S. in Education. She taught elementary school for 20 years at various schools, tutored and mentored students, and was an Awana and Kid's Connection leader for many years. She was a charter member of West Madison Bible Church in Verona, Wisconsin.

She asked Jesus to be her Savior on July 31, 1971, and was married later that afternoon to Joseph N. Ryan of Westfield, Wisconsin. She loved the Lord and spent her life serving and helping others, loving every minute.

She is survived by her husband Joseph(Joe), two sons, William(Bill) and Andrew(Andy), her grandson Caleb, one brother, James(Jim) L. Thill(Jean Anne) of Leesburg, Virginia, one sister, Jeanne Rilyea(Jim) of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and one special uncle, Jack Thill of Rose Creek, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her 2 parents, 4 aunts, and 3 uncles.

There will be a memorial service held on Wednesday, January 15, at West Madison Bible Church, 2920 N. County Hwy M, Verona, WI at 11:00 am. Pastor Daniel Kukasky(Shirley) officiating. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 am until the time of the service. Anyone can have His promise of eternal life(heaven) as stated in John 3:16, by just asking. It states: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."

The family would like to thank the doctors and physicians at UW Health Clinics/Carbone Cancer Center, as well as the staff at Agrace HospiceCare and Group Health Cooperative, for their kind and considerate care provided for Mary Anne.
