Mary Salt

Sauk City, WI - Mary Lucille Salt, age 72, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019. She was born March 15, 1947, in Madison, WI. The daughter of Delbert and Vera (Harrison) Bunnell of Madison, WI. She graduated from East High School in 1965.

Mary was a dedicated employee, having worked in various administrative roles throughout her career. She enjoyed time with family and especially loved celebrating the holidays by creating and celebrating traditions with her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her daughter Karla Salt, son Norman (Betsy) Salt, granddaughters Megan (Patrick) Meyer and Lauren Skibba. As well as sisters Beverly (Lester) Kulke, Carol Petrick, Debbie (Ken) Klahn, Shirley Smith, and numerous extended family and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and step father Alvin Berg. As well as siblings Dean, Dale, Ronald, and Gary Bunnell, Betty Raether, and Margaret Anderson.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held at United in Christ Church in Morrisonville on Saturday, November 9th. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. with church service beginning at 11:00 a.m. and a luncheon to follow.

The family would like to thank St. Clare Hospital and SSM Hospice House in Baraboo for their outstanding care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SSM Hospice House in Baraboo (915 12th St., Baraboo, WI 53913).
