Biography:
Mary Imelda Sexton, formerly of Riverside, Illinois and a resident of Middleton, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2014 after a long illness.

Mary was the beloved and cherished wife of James B. Sexton (now deceased), and the loving and caring mother and mother-in-law of Richard and (Abigail) Sexton, Mark and (Katherine) Sexton, William and (Julie) Sexton, Peter and (Margaret) Sexton, and Maureen Sexton and her husband Terrence J. Keegan. Mary was also the very proud grandmother to 15 wonderful grandchildren, who loved to spend time with Grandma during holiday visits and special occasions.

Mary touched so many lives during her time on this Earth. Her compassion, love of life and unwavering dedication to her family and friends will always be remembered. She was a kind and generous person who willingly gave her time and support to a number of church, community and charitable organizations throughout her life.

Her beautiful smile, infectious laugh and wonderful sense of humor were just some of her amazing qualities, and she loved the art of conversation during family gatherings.

Mary's family will hold a Visitation on Friday, April 4, 2014 at St. Clement Church, 642 W. Deming Place in Chicago with a Catholic Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. CDT. A memorial luncheon will be held immediately following the Visitation Service and Mass.

A private burial will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial donations be directed to the Catholic Charities of Illinois.

Mary, the family knows you are smiling down on us along with your beloved husband Jim. We love you so much and you will always be in our hearts. God bless you and may you rest in eternal peace!
