Mary Voigt

Stoughton- Mary K. Voigt, age 77, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was born in Alton, IL on September 15, 1934 the daughter of Robert and Katherine McManus. Kay dedicated her life to the Stoughton community and volunteered in many capacities, including being a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary and President for three years, American Legion Auxiliary, Meals on Wheels for 14 years, Stoughton Hospital, and Stoughton Food Pantry. She worked as an office manager for Prairie Farms Dairy for 12 years and retired from Farm-n-Fleet. Kay is survived by her children, David (Lesha) and Wayne Seymour, Brenda Vike and Diane (Brian) Erickson; seven grandchildren, Ricky, Justin and James, Tyler and Crystal, Nicole and Brandon; two great granddaughters; two sisters, Pat MacBeth and Jean Wiggins; and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her childrens father, Don Seymour; daughter, Regina Seymour; and siblings, Bob McManus and Helen Welch. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 18, 2011 at the Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton, with Chaplain Timothy Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Lutheran Cemetery South. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon at the Stoughton VFW following the burial. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services Friday.
