Mary Voiss

McFarland- Mary Lou Voiss, age 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 24, 2011. She was born in East Grand Forks, MN, the daughter of Patrick and Mary (Enright) Bushee. Mary Lou graduated from East Grand Forks Central High School in 1950. She married Alan Voiss in 1955 in Chicago. Before retiring in 1994, Mary Lou was employed by the State of WI and the WI School of Electronics. She is survived by her daughters, Dori (James) Shelby and Julie (Hoss) Voiss of McFarland; sons, Duane "Dewy" (Diane) of McFarland, Dale (Angela) of Madison, Kurt (Vicki) of Poynette and Wade "Chip" (Lisa) of Oregon; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Patrick (Leslie) Bushee of Texas; and sister, Linda Barz of Pennsylvania. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Loren, Terry and Danny; brothers, Clark and Michael; sisters, Barbara Johnson, Ruth Hagen and Rita Wills. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 29, 2011 at Cress Funeral Home in McFarland, with Fr. Stephen Smith officiating. Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until the time of services Monday. Inurnment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the UW Hospital Cardiology unit for their care and support.
