Mary Margaret “Mae” Dunn, age 15, passed away peacefully in the hospital after a procedure on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Mae, a true warrior, fought a fierce battle against Ewing’s sarcoma cancer for 14 months. Born on November 6, 2005, Mae was sweet, kind, and lovable from the very beginning. Friendly and inclusive of everyone and anyone, Mae truly loved her friends, as evidenced by the #MaeStrong following on social media.
Mae was fun, goofy, and creative. Her creativity and passion for art led to the creation of her online store, Amaezing Designs. Messages of hope, positivity, and encouragement embody her work. Always the social butterfly, Mae used sports to increase time with friends. From school sports such as basketball and volleyball to summer favorites, including swimming, tennis, and water ballet, Mae was a natural athlete. Using her sweet disposition and ability to bring everyone together, Mae was adored by all.
Mae is survived by her parents, Missy and Warren Dunn, and siblings Hunter and Sarah. Grandfather, Michael Solomon. Aunts and Uncles, Reg and Betsy Dunn, Patrick and Christine Solomon, Susan and Rob Simmons, Katie and Bobby Holland.
