Mearl B. Waldsmith

Marshall-Mearl B. Waldsmith, age 45, passed away on Sat., July 24, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital after a long battle with heart disease. Mearl was born on May 30, 1965 in Baraboo, the son of Ramona Waldsmith. Mearl was employed with Appliances Products as an industrial painter. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and watching the Packer's especially with his brother Clint. Mearl is survived by his daughter Alicia Waldsmith; mother Ramona Barnum; sister Cathy (Tom) Gulseth; brothers Clint Salzman and Todd (Amber) Salzman; special niece and great-niece Desiree Johnson and Calynn Uttech; uncles Pat (Laurie) Bower and Vince (Shari) Bower; aunt Patricia (Kenny) Fast; other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his nephew Tom Rund and Grandmother Betty Floyd. Memorial services will be held on Friday, Aug 30, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.
