McKAY, MELINDA Melinda McKay, age 47, died Monday, August 4, 2008 in a local hospital. She was born August 14, 1960, in Chicago, the daughter of Theodore and Brenda (Williams) Hill. She spent the past 10 years working as an administrative assistant for the Wisconsin Secretary of State. She was a graduate of King High School in Chicago. On November 28, 1982, Melinda was united in marriage with Darryl McKay. In addition to her husband Darryl, survivors include 3 children: Tamica, Darryl, Jr. and Elijah; 1 granddaughter Nyla; 14 brothers and sisters: Cecilia (Rickie) Wilson, Corina Brown, Beatrice Hill-Newton, Tawona Hill, Felissa Siggers, Debra Thomas, Margie Ann Banks, Theodore Banks, Rodney Jackson, Tyrone Jackson, Darren Jackson, Theodore Jackson, Arnold Jackson and Anthony Hill.
