Michael Everingham

Madison, Wisconsin - Michael A. Everingham, age 50 followed his shepherd home on Thursday, November 22, 2012. He was born on Jaunuary 28, 1962 to Delores A. and James C. Everingham of Pennsgrove, New Jersey. He was united in marriage to Julie Lynn Jacobson on July 26, 1986 and separated in divorce in 1995.

Michael moved to Wisconsin with his mother in 1983, and after her death he went to live with Julie's parents, Roger C. and Judith A. Jacobson of Madison. Michael served in the United States Army including a three year tour to Germany. He also served in the Wisconsin National Guard. Michael worked for the University of Wisconsin in the Janitorial Services for 13 years.

He is survived by his two sons; Westly Mitchel (girlfriend Jessica Jordan) Everingham and Jacob Lucas Everingham of Madison. Michael is also survived by three brothers; Gary J (Dona) Everingham, Joseph J. Everingham of Madison and Steven Everingham (adopted at birth), and a sister Cindy L. Everingham of Riverview, Florida, and two nephews Christopher William Everingham and Corey Steven Everingham both of Madison. He was preceded in death by his mother Delores A. (Zarli) Everingham and his father James C. Everingham, his maternal grandfather Joseph and his maternal grandmother Elizabeth. He is also survived by his Aunt Angie Long and his cousin Betty Ann Coats and several other family members of New Jersey.

A private family service and gathering was held. Burial of his cremains will be held at a later date at Roselawn Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their gratitude for the loving care provided by all the staff and friends at Meadowmere Assisted Living Facility and to Heartland HospiceCare of Madison. Memorials can be made privately to the Wisconsin Dialysis of Madison or to the Veterans Administration.
