McFarland -- Michael Mike' A. Johnson, age 51, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in
McFarland on Saturday, December 6, 2008. He was born in Madison on January 17, 1957. Mike was a loving son, husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, great-uncle and friend to many. Mike was a very hardworking man. Among his many jobs, he retired from Sani-matic and Dairy Equipment. He was also a retired Captain of the McFarland Fire Department. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family, deer hunting, playing the lottery and always putting his two cents' in. He is survived by his mother, Margarete Johnson; wife, Kay Johnson; daughter, Brandi Johnson; son, Michael Johnson; daughter, Jessica (Jon) Miller; grandchildren, Timothy, Bryce, Olivia, Hanna, Kamille, Greta and Layla; his brothers, John (Linda) Johnson, Jim (Donna) Johnson, twin brother, Pat Johnson; and sister, Anna AJ' Johnson; eight nephews; one niece; two great-nephews; and three great-nieces. He will also be clearly missed by his four-legged well behaved children'. Mike was preceded in death by his father, John J. Johnson; grandfather, Forrest and grandmother, Margarete Johnson. A celebration of Mike's life will take place on Friday, December 12, 2008 at 2pm at the Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in McFarland, where the family will greet friends from 11am until the time of service. Following services, family and friends are invited to the McFarland American Legion for lunch. Committal services will be private. --Special thanks to the McFarland Fire Department-
