Michael McGuire

Michael R. McGuire, age 82, passed away on August 17th 2024 with family by his side. He was born on May 31st, 1942 in Salem Massachusetts to Charles and Aurelie McGuire.

While working in Central City Colorado he met his wife Mary Kay Sullivan. Together they would be married 56 years and have four children together. At the beginning of their marriage he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served In Wiesbaden, West Germany. After his time ended in the Air Force he attended and graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. After graduating he went on to serve in various areas of law enforcement in both Florida and Washington State. He and his wife Mary later settled in Wisconsin to be closer to his father in law Ken Sullivan.

Michael loved all things sports, especially baseball and golf. Spending time on the baseball field or on the golf course were two of his favorite things to do. As a child Ted Williams was his idol and later in life the Milwaukee Brewers were his team to root for.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Aurelie, Brother (Bob) Sister (Kathleen) and his loving wife Mary Kay (Sullivan) McGuire.

He is survived by his four children Maureen, Michael, Molly and Matthew along with 5 Grandchildren, Annie, Georgia, Charlie, Josephine, and Aiden.

His family will miss him but take great comfort knowing he is reunited with his wife.
