Michael Meyer

Middleton- Michael J. Meyer passed away surrounded by his loving family on February 24, 2014. Mike was born on August 25, 1950 to John Meyer and Mary (Krueger) Maloney in Madison, WI where he grew up. He was employed with Frank Beer and Liquor as a fork lift operator for thirty-four years before retiring. When not working, Mike enjoyed competitive paintball, hunting, hand-gunning, billiards, a good bowling game, and visiting museums.
Preceded in death by his father, Mike is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Linda Louise Meyer whom he married on July 7, 2004; his mother Mary Louise Maloney; two loving daughters Samara (Meyer) Gurule and Tiffany (Meyer) Noriega; two stepsons Russell and Myles Straube; two brothers Jeff and James Meyer; and five sisters: Laurie (Meyer) Warn, Peggy (Meyer) Rauch, Meriann (Meyer) Munn, Margie (Taylor) Damgaard, and Kris (Taylor) Van Keuren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, February 28, 2014 at the Cress Center, 6021 University Ave., Madison, WI. 53705.
