Michael P. Mitton

Sun Prairie-Michael P. Mitton, age 56, passed away very unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at his home.  He was born on January 17, 1955 the son of Charles & Norma ( Henderson) Mitton.  Michael was united in marriage to Denise Walls on December 6, 1991 in Paris, ILL.  He was employed as a Clinical Supervisor of Anesthesia at St Clare Hospital Baraboo WI. He served as the Anesthesia Clinical Director of Datex Ohmeda.  Michael authored and simulated software developer of cardiac rhythm identification for teaching healthcare providers.  He was a noted National and International speaker on Anesthesia and ventilation topics.  He is survived by his wife, Denise Mitton; his sons,  Jarrett Yeargin and Erin Yeargin; his mother, Norma Douglas; his brother, Robert Mitton; his stepsister, Jeannie; and the ""rand girls"" Sara Flynn, Navita Sharma, and Olivia Flynn. Michael was preceded in death by his father.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the Cress Funeral Home, Sun Prairie with Rev. G. Keith Schroerlucke officiating.  Visitation will be held on Monday at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.  Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society or the SPCA.
