Michael A. Nelson

McFarland- Michael A. Nelson, age 30, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  He was born in Brunswick, GA on May 29, 1978, the son of Keith and Debra ( Shannon) Nelson.  Mike graduated from Middleton High School in 1996.  He enjoyed sharing time with his service dog, Buster, watching NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers, and working on his computer.  Mike is survived by his father, Keith (Melissa) Nelson of Mechanicsburg, PA; his mother, Debra Nelson (Jeff Holmes) of Madison; siblings, Matthew, Christopher and Emily Nelson, all of Mechanicsburg, PA; and grandmothers, Jane Pawlus of Stoughton and Lucille Peeples of Brunswick, GA.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Nelson.  A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 15, 2008 at Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home, 5801 Highway 51, McFarland, with Fr. Stephen Smith officiating.  Friends may greet the family from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Monday.  Memorials may be made to WAGS Inc.
