Mike Silbernagel

Madison - C. Michael "Mike" Silbernagel, age 72, passed away on Thursday March 7, 2013. He was born in Madison and grew up in Beaver Dam, along with his sister Sue. Mike married Mary Stahmer on April 30, 1966. He worked as an accountant at Wipfli. Mike is preceded in death by his father Herman Alfred Silbernagel, and his mother, Virginia Rose (Hoffman) Silbernagel; his uncle John Silbernagel; and his infant son John. He is survived by his wife Mary; his children Lynn (Greg), David (Cindy Watson), Mark (Erin Hanson), Matthew (Young Shin), and Andrew (Tessa); grandchildren Jessie, Lukas, Daniel, and Maxwell; his aunt Elnore; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held at BLACKHAWK CHURCH, 9620 Brader Way, Middleton, on Tuesday March 12, 2013 with a visitation at 2:00 p.m., and memorial at 3:00 p.m.

Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, and neighbor. His kind heart and generous spirit will be missed by all. Memorials may be made in Mike's name to Blackhawk Church, or Dane County Humane Society.
