Mildred Quinn

November 7, 1916 — May 2, 2016

Stoughton- Mildred Pauline Quinn died on May 2, 2016 at her son's home in Madison where she had lived for the last 5 years. She was known by most as Pauline and to many she was Grams! Grams was born on November 7, 1916, to Albert and Lucile Raisbeck. As a young child, she lived in Shullsburg and then moved with her family to Janesville where her father worked for General Motors. Grams had fond memories of the years the "boarders" lived with them so they could work at "the plant".
On April 26, 1935, she married Eugene Quinn at United Methodist Church in Janesville and they had one son, Charles (C. A.). They lived in Janesville, Whitefish Bay and Stoughton.
Grams worked for many years at JC Penney in Janesville. She shared stories of sending money down to the cashiers in tubes!
Grams is survived by her son, C. A. (Janie); granddaughters, Connie Jo (Dean) Stubbindeck, Tammy (Dan) Bonk, and Alicia (Jon) Faucher; grandsons, Jeff (Kelly) and Greg Quinn; great grandchildren, Justin (Amy), Ashley (Kai), Sean (Erica), Andrew, Nealie, Kelsey, Lizzy, Sam, Quinn, Ava Jane, and Nahla; and great, great grandsons, Vann and James (J. D.).
She was preceded in death by her parents and her "kid" brother, Charles.
Funeral services will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W Prospect St., Stoughton, Wisconsin, on Friday, May 6, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeremy Scott officiating.
