Brookfield--Milfred A. ""Milt"" Schrank, age 93, formerly of Madison, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2008 in Pewaukee. He was born November 5, 1914 in Coloma, Wisconsin, the son of the late Michael and Augusta (Hendrick) Schrank. Milt was the first born of twin boys and the last born in a family of eleven children. Milt and his twin brother, Elmer, were on championship basketball and baseball teams in high school. Together they enlisted with the United States Air Force having served during World War II, and were present at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked on December 7, 1941.   In 1948, Milt married Lorraine Stout and became the father to her four children. For 43 years, he was a devoted husband and caretaker for Lorraine until her death on May 8, 1991. Milt worked for Oscar Mayer Company in Madison until his retirement in 1978. After retirement, Milt and Lorraine enjoyed spending winters in Texas and Florida. He also enjoyed fishing and snowmobiling and was forever a big fan of baseball and basketball and especially enjoyed attending many Brewer games.   He is survived by his son, Victor (Gloria) Ninneman of Dane, WI; his daughters, Phyllis Goodrich of Long Beach, CA, and Jean Ann (John) Ayer of Brookfield, WI; his grandchildren, Douglas Ninneman, Jenifer Yaroch, Derek Ninneman, Jane and Jason Ayer and Ericka and David Goodrich; 4 great-granddaughters; 7 great-grandsons; and also many nieces and nephews. Milt worked hard for his family and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine; son, Robert Ninneman; 3 sisters, and 7 brothers.   Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the Cress Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Ave., Madison with the Rev. Ray Bezanson officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park, Monona.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Advent Christian Church, 215 S. Eighth Street, Watertown, WI 53094.
