Milton Strong

Verona- Milton Lee Strong, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Badger Prairie Health Care Center in Verona. He was born in Milwaukee on November 10, 1942, to J. Gordon and Doris L. (Strandquist) Strong. Milt graduated from the UW in 1965 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation he served in the U.S. Army. Milt was briefly employed in Minneapolis and Madison, and lived the balance of his life in Madison. Milt had a love of sailing, and enjoyed gardening and playing his guitar. He is survived by his sister, Janice (Richard) Hruby of McFarland; brother, Gary (Barbara) Strong of Ocononowoc; nephews, Rick (Amy), Tim (Jennifer) and Jeff (Nicole) Hruby and Mark (Janey) Strong; nieces, Michele (Barry) Johnson, Carla (Josh) Best and Laura (fianc�, John Lawless) Strong. Private family services will be held at Highland Memory Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff of Badger Prairie Health Care Center, and to the VA Community Support Program.
