Mina Ehly

MADISON- In Loving Memory of Mina Allene Ehly. Mina,passed away at Meriter Hospital on October 30th, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Mina was born on December 12th, 1946 in Minneapolis, MN to MaryAnn Ehly and Alta Ehly. She attended West High School and later received a bachelor's degree at UW-Whitewater in Special Education.

Mina worked for 35 years at Central Wisconsin Center as a Special Education Teacher. She enjoyed working with children and adults with special needs. Mina showed a level of care, compassion, patience, giving, gratitude and devotion that she embodied throughout her life. Mina devoted her life to her work and her twin daughters. She also enjoyed planting flowers, reading, time with her girlfriends, celebrating the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas, and most recently relishing in her role as a grandma.

Mina is survived by daughters, Adria Warren and Larissa Ehly (Brian Juve); mother, MaryAnn Ehly; siblings, Carly Schmelzer (Tom), Michael Ehly (Pat), Rita Wedderspoon (Steve); grandchildren, Naomi Warren and Brody Juve; and brother-in-law Paul Nemovitz. She was predeceased by her father, Alta Ehly and sister, Connie Nemovitz.

Mina's celebration of life party will be held at Rex's Innkeeper, 301 N Century Ave, Waunakee, WI 53597
(608) 849-5011 on Sunday, November 8th, 2015 from 12pm-3pm. Mina requests this be a celebration of her life. In her honor she requests the party goers where brightly colored or Hawaiian patterned clothes.
