Minnie E. Anderson

Stoughton- Minnie E. Anderson, age 97, passed away peacefully in her sleep in Stoughton on Friday, August 13, 2010.  She was born on March 23, 1913, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Walterscheit.   Minnie married Charles X. Anderson on March 3, 1929.  Minnie was a loving wife; mother; grandmother; aunt; great-aunt; and friend to many.  Minnie retired from a long career with Demco; and she enjoyed bible studies; spending time with family; family reunions; dancing; watching Wisconsin sport teams; and reading the daily newspaper.   She is survived by her son Charles Earl ""Andy"" Anderson, and grandson Robert Charles (Ann) Anderson; as well as many other relatives and friends.  Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, her husband, her daughter-in-law Betty L. Anderson, her granddaughter Nancy Anderson, and many siblings.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday Aug. 18, 2010, at Skaalen Home Chapel, 400 N. Morris, Stoughton, with Reverend James Koza officiating.  Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon immediately following the service.  Burial will be private. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday .  The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Skaalen Home, especially Heritage Center, for the excellent care provided to Minnie.
