Nadine Duckert

Stoughton - Nadine" Dina" Duckert was born September 27, 1963 in Madison WI beat the odds significantly by using only natural means, but unfortunately lost her more than heroic battle with cancer on December 26. Her courage and sheer determination were more than remarkable. Dina graduated from Madison West high school in 1981. She earned an Associate Degree in Marketing from MATC and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Upper Iowa University all while working full time. She also took course work at the University of Wisconsin Madison Campus.
Dina was a major advocate of animal welfare and rescued more than 100 animals and gave them never ending love, care and shelter for the duration of their lives. Seventy eight of these animals remain in the loving care of her family at this time. She was unwavering in her commitment to the welfare of animals and all wildlife and her accomplishments in this area cannot be equaled.
She is survived by a family who love her dearly, her husband Greg, her daughter Vera and her son Andrey, her brother Chuck Bylsma, her parents Phyllis Van Cleef of Lodi and her father Charles Bylsma of Madison as well as her step mother Christine Bylsma, her step father Dierk Van Cleef her step sister Sara Gold of Madison and her step brother Jordan Van Cleef of Minneapolis. .
In lieu of flowers all donations made will be incorporated into two scholarships that will be established in Dina's name at the University of Wisconsin Veterinary School and at MATC within the Vet Tech Program.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton. Friends may greet the family at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
