Nancy Frey

COTTAGE GROVE- Nancy L. Frey, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 6, 2018. She was born on June 21, 1952 to the late Thomas and Jacqueline (Below) Running.

Nancy loved the outdoors. She loved to garden, watch the cranes, tend to her garden, and dote on their cockatoo, KT. Being very creative, Nancy was talented in sewing and was a jigsaw puzzle master. One of Nancy's favorite TV series was The Great British Baking Show.

As a true Wisconsin gal, Nancy was a dedicated Brewers, Packers, and Badgers fan. She never missed watching a Brewers game!

Nancy is survived by her husband Bruce; mother Jacqueline Heinze; daughter Alissa Shepeck; brother Thomas (Susan) Running; brother-in-law Dale (Jean) Frey; nieces Sara (fiancé Terry Oldham) Marks with her son Taylor Thayer, and Rachel (fiancé Richard Ewing) Marks; nephews Michael Marks, and Fred (Tanya), Joe (Dan), Matt (Nikki), and Ben (Stephanie) Frey; and many other great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her father Thomas and dear sister Jean Ann Marks. She will also be dearly missed by her cockatoo, KT.

A Celebration of Life for Nancy will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Rail House, 12 S. Industrial Park Rd., Deerfield, WI 53531. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the International Crane Foundation, 9445, E11376 Shady Lane Rd, Baraboo, WI 53913.
