Nancy Ann Sheldon

DeForestNancy Ann Sheldon, age 60 passed away Saturday, February 14, 2009 in Madison. Nancy was born June 21, 1948 in Appleton, the daughter of the late Otto and Agnes (Jedwabny) Luchterhand. She was untied in marriage to Arthur D. Sheldon on January 11, 1968 in Appleton. Together they moved to many places over the years, due to Arthur's work, until moving to DeForest 22 years ago. For over 20 years, Nancy ran her own day-care center called ""Home Care Day Care."" Nancy was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed attending many games. She also enjoyed gambling and the many trips taken to LasVegas.   Survivors include: her husband of 41 years, Arthur; two daughters, Melanie (Lee) Peters of Cottage Grove, and Margaret Sheldon of Milwaukee; one son, Adam Sheldon of Madison; a granddaughter, Logan Peters; a grandson, Boone Peters; and sister, Sue (Pete) Becher of Appleton. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, friends and her two Pugs, Paita and Ozzie.  She was preceded in death by her parents.   A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie with the Deacon Joseph Stafford officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 am until the time of service.
