Nancy Jean Spangler

Madison - Nancy Jean Spangler, age 40, passed away peacefully, at her home in Madison, WI on July 14, 2011. She was born on February 23, 1971, in Madison, the daughter of John and Beverly (Kepke) Denruiter. Nancy's early months of life challenged her with Leukemia; she struggled to survive the 70's. Nancy was a national sole infant survivor, a ""Miracle Child"" providing learning techniques for the UW and all teaching hospitals. Nancy is survived by her mother, Beverly Denruiter; sisters Erica, Tracy, and Jacklyn Denruiter; nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Dakota, John, Hunter, Gage, Hailey, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. We wish to give a special thanks to the many years of in-home care, love, and support by Cynthia and ""Sleepy"" Maloy and their family provided for our Nancy. She was preceded in death by her father, grandfathers, grandmother and an uncle.

A memorial service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
