Nancy C. Wisersky

STOUGHTON -- Nancy C. Wisersky, age 77, passed away on September 8, at Sienna Crest, Fort Atkinson, WI.   Nancy was born on November 2, 1932 in Des Plaines, Illinois, the daughter of Herman J. and Dorothea (Stroker) Carr.   She graduated from Arlington Heights High School, Arlington Heights, Illinois in 1950.   Nancy was united in marriage to Thomas F. Wisersky, on July 12, 1952.     Tom and Nancy moved to Stoughton in 1958 to raise their family on their farm in Pleasant Springs.      Nancy's greatest joys were taking care of the farm, her home and her family.   She loved entertaining for her family and friends.   Nancy worked for the Stoughton Area School District for 10 years and retired in 1998.   She was a member of the PEO Sisterhood since 1952, and a charter member of Chapter DG, Stoughton and the Entre Nous Study Club.   Nancy is survived by her three children. Daughter, Susan (Steve) Moe, Son, David (Megan) Wisersky, of Stoughton; and daughter, Ann (Tim) LaFond of Neenah. Grandchildren:   Abbie (John) Treiber, Peter (Jenna) Moe, Tom Wisersky, Daniel and Elisabeth LaFond.   Great-grandchild:   Olivia Treiber and longtime friend, Edna Clouter and numerous close family and other friends.   Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect Ave. in Stoughton with Monsignor Gerard Healy officiating. Friends of the family may call from 11 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Wheeler Prairie Cemetery.   The family suggests that memorials be made to the PEO Sisterhood, Entre Nous Study Club or the Humane Society.   The family would like to express a special thank you to Sienna Crest, Fort Atkinson, for the wonderful care mom received while living there.   Nancy will be sorely missed by her family and friends for the gracious and kind-loving woman that she was.   Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Herman J. and Dorothea S. Carr, and her husband, the love of her life, Tom, in 1998.
