Madison-Naomi H. Abram was taken to her eternal home on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the age of 85. Naomi was born in Hillsdale, MI, the daughter of Raymond and Louise (Baerlin) Foust. She is survived by her 3 children, Janice (Felix) Egli, Deerfield, WI, Cynthia (Norm) Allen, Fairfield, CT, and Roger (Denise) Abram of Milford, MI; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Aaron) Andersen, Lisa (Seth) Hedrington, Andre Egli, Jason Allen and David Allen; her sisters Marie (Jim) Boley and Esther (Pete) Lanius. She is further survived by sister and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and many caring friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 5 brothers and 2 nephews. A special thank you to Dr. Greg Motl for his care throughout the years. Many thanks to the RCA and Oakwood Knoll for their love and care during the years and a special than you to the care team of Bethlehem Lutheran. Naomi was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be missed greatly by her loving family. A Memorial Service will be held at Tree of Life Chapel, Oakwood Village East, 5565 Tancho Drive, Madison, WI on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Memorials may be made to Oakwood Foundation, HospiceCare, Inc, Bethlehem Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Foundation.

Naomi's most cherished moments were time spent with her family. She loved getting the opportunity to attend her children's and grandchildren's activities. Holidays were special and time for the whole family because Mom made them that way. She taught us the value of work and the value of play. She also taught us all about strength, courage, determination, love and hope. Her strong faith helped her through many difficult health challenges. She was the glue that held our family together and we will forever treasure all the wonderful memories. A precious one has left us, a voice we love is stilled, an empty place is in our lives that never can be filled. God saw her getting weary and did what seemed the best, just came and stood beside her and whispered Come and rest. We'll love you forever....
