Natalie Ann Tinkham, longtime resident of Madison and career librarian at the Madison Public Library, died of natural causes on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Hebron Oaks SNF in Madison, WI. Born April 25, 1932 in Green Lake County, she was 3 weeks shy of her 91st birthday. Natalie graduated Cum Laude from UW-Madison (1953).  She traveled the world, cheered the Packers and Badgers, generously supported local and state historical societies, the Madison Community Foundation, the Madison Public Library, and was a member of the Wisconsin Library Association.

Natalie is predeceased by her parents, Clayton H and LaVerna K Tinkham, her two brothers, Clayton C and Michael Tinkham, and her dear friend and companion Patricia Georgeson. She is survived by her nieces, Carolyn Tinkham and Diane Tinkham Levy (David) and nephews Robert Tinkham (Audrey), Jeffrey Tinkham (Carole) and Christopher Tinkham (Shannon) as well as her great nieces and nephews: Emily Bartels, Matthew Tinkham, Stephanie May, Clara and Sydney Levy; Addie, Alden, and Kyle Tinkham.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Oakwood Village Resurrection Chapel, 6201 Mineral Point Rd, Madison, WI at 4pm on Monday, May 1st. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made in her name to the Madison Community Foundation or the Madison Public Library.
