Natividad C. Gaughan

Natividad (Nina) Castillo Gaughan, age 95, died Saturday, February 26, 2011 in St. Mary's Care Center. She was born August  25, 1915 in the Philippines,  the daughter of Crispin and Maria (Recto) Castillo from Tiaong, Quezon Nina was married to Dr. Narciso T. Reyes of Malolos, Bulacan. They lived and raised their 10 children in Quiapo, Manila. She was widowed in 1970. She migrated to U.S. in 1983. Nina remarried to Thomas Gaughan in 1988 and later moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. She was widowed in 1998.  She later settled in Madison, WI. She is survived by her children: Dr. Ramon (Carmen) Reyes, Philippines , Martha Ocampo, Chicago, Mary Lou (Dr. Timoteo) Galvez, Madison, Irene Medina, Canada, Pilar Reyes, Madison, Manuel (Irene) Reyes, Philippines and Jaime (Dr. Elizabeth) Reyes, Madison, daughter in-law Jasmine Young, Philippines; grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by Dr. Narciso Reyes and Thomas Gaughan, her sons: Narciso Jr., Roberto, and Antonio and 6 brothers and sisters. In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, tributes in memory of Nina may be directed to St. Mary's Care Center, 3401 Maple Grove Road  Madison, WI   53719.  The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of St. Mary's Care Center for the compassion, love, care and comfort they have provided Nina during her stay.       A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 5 at ST. PETER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5001 N. Sherman Avenue. The family will greet friends from 10:00 am until time of  Mass.  Msgr. Charles Schluter and Father Roger Nilles will concelebrate Mass.
