Neal Erickson

Town of Pleasant Springs- Neal Duane Erickson, age 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at his home with his son and daughter-in-law at his side. He was born in Stoughton on July 16, 1940, the son of George and Marlin Erickson. Neal graduated from Stoughton High School in 1958. He enlisted into the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea. Neal was united in marriage to Saundra Hubbel, who preceded him in death. He worked at Uniroyal Engineered Products in Stoughton for 43 years. Neal was a member of the Stoughton VFW Post 328. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Neal is survived by his son, Steve "Rat" (Michele); two grandchildren, Ronnie and Bryn; Michele's daughters, Taylor, Olivia and Gianna; three brothers, George (Marge), Roger (Sharon) and Truman; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and six brothers. A celebration of Neal's life will be held at a later date.
