Madison - Nick Charles Nolan-Plutchak, age 25, died Monday, June 13, 2011. Nick was born November 19, 1985 in Madison, the son of Donald G. Nolan and Linda Plutchak. Nick was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
We had the best son and brother a family could ask for. Our lives will never be the same. You were our beacon. We will always remember the three generation hunting trips. We will always remember the little boy in his footy pajamas and holsters. We will always remember watching Beau Geste. We will always remember pizza and Spanish tutoring on Langdon. We will always remember you and Lady in the morning. We will always remember you waiting on Friday nights for Em to come home. We remember all four kids spending every Friday in Em's room taking hours to make a 10 minute decision about where to go to dinner. Our lives were blessed by the luck of having you in it.
Nick was preceded in death, by exactly one week, by his beloved dog Lady. We know they are now together.
Nick is survived by his parents, Don and Linda; sisters Emily and Amanda Nolan-Plutchak of Madison; adopted brother, Isaiah Southward of Madison; his ""true love"", Molly Kelly of Madison; and grandparents, Glen and Rita (Dashner) Nolan of Kaukauna and Mary (Reilly) Plutchak of Appleton. Nick is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and other loved ones. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Herbert Plutchak of Kaukauna.
""May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be ever at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And, until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand."" - Traditional Irish Blessing
A memorial gathering in Nick's memory will be held at a later date.
