Nirthika Sivakumar

Nirthika “Nirmi” Sivakumar, 39, of Madison, Wisconsin, passed away on April 4th, 2023, surrounded by the love and prayer of family and friends. She was born in Sri Lanka on June 12th, 1983, to loving parents Vijai and Sivakumar. Upon graduation from Madison Memorial High School in 2001, she attended the University of Wisconsin- Madison earning a Bachelor of Science, and an MBA in 2010 from Edgewood College. She was career-focused, most recently serving as a senior consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

She was a devoted granddaughter, daughter, niece, cousin, and dear friend to many. Her charisma, beauty, and smile drew people to her, and her friendly and often comedic demeanor was a favorite in her community. She loved music, fashion, good food, dogs, and laughing. Nirthika is survived by her mother and beloved dog Mookie.

A wake will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 5:30 – 9 p.m. at the Cress Center, 6021 University Avenue, Madison. The service will be at the funeral home, Saturday at 10 a.m. A luncheon will follow.
