Noranna C. (Trauba) Lisi, age 87, died of natural causes on June 7, 2009 at her residence at Oakwood Village memory care center. Her husband of 61 years, Thomas D. Lisi, died in August 2007. Nan was born in Greenville, WI, the daughter of Rudolph and Wilhelmina Trauba. She was a graduate of the UW-Madison with a bachelor's degree in Nursing and a bachelor's degree in Home Economics.  Mom devoted countless volunteer hours to health and service organizations including Girl Scouts, St Dennis parish, cancer care, the Red Cross, and Meals on Wheels. She and Tom were associated with the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary for many years. She enjoyed many hobbies, especially needlework and fishing. Mom was the fun and humor behind family adventures, like loading the family station wagon for summer trips to the cottage on Lake Poygan, year-round camping and picnics. Even while living with Alzheimer's during her final years, she was cheery and quick with a compliment. ""It doesn't get better than this,"" she'd say. Nan was a true inspiration and touched many lives.  She is survived by her two sisters, Nathalie Perkins ( Appleton), and Sally Hein (McFarland). Her brother, Gerald Trauba, is deceased. She is also survived by her ten children: Gerard (Margaret) Rice Lake; Patrick (Marjorie) St. George, UT; Mary (Sheri) Desert Hot Springs, CA; Jim (Kathy) St. Cloud, FL; John (Lois) Madison; Barb Hockett  (Victor) McFarland; Susan (James Knaack) Seattle, WA; Mark (Katie) Darlington; Ann (Joel Greene) Worcester, MA; Margaret San Francisco, CA; and by 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, June 12 at OAKWOOD VILLAGE EAST, 5565 Tancho Drive , Madison , where friends may call from 10:30 until time of Mass.  Memorial donations may be given to Luke House, 310 S. Ingersoll St, Madison, WI 53703; Alzheimer's research; or the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary, 5901 Cottage Grove Rd , Madison, WI 53718 .          Â
