MADISON-Norman L. Ginder, age 93, passed away on June 21, 2011 at Capitol Lakes Nursing Home. Norman was born on November 8, 1917 in Toledo, Ohio, the only child of George and Mamie (Mutsfeld) Ginder. He was raised in Elkhart, Indiana graduating from high school in 1935. He later went on to graduate from Purdue University earning a B.S. in mechanical engineering. He married Wilma I. Good on August 19, 1943 and immediately entered active military duty serving in the Army until 1946.
Norman worked for the International Harvester Co. in Chicago serving as a sales engineer for over 30 years.
In retirement, he enjoyed golfing and fishing throughout Wisconsin and Canada.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years; a son, Toby (Judy) Ginder, and grandchildren Erin Ginder (fianc� Marty Mathias) and Eric (Sutra) Ginder, all from Madison. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald
A private funeral will be held at the Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Rd., Madison on Thursday, June 23, 2011 with interment to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
