Stoughton- Omer Greig Lee, age 87, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Nazareth House in Stoughton. He was born in Dunkirk Township on August 25, 1924, a son of Levi and Alice (Greig) Lee. Omer worked on the family farm, at Greig Machine, and retired from Uniroyal after working there for 13 years. He loved trains, tractors and automobiles, and enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Koffee Kup and at Sugar & Spice. Omer is survived by a niece, Barbara (Richard) Harried; a great nephew, Scott Harried; his God-child, Hunter Brown; several cousins; special friends, Tammy and Chris Gallwitz, many, many friends; and his feline companion, Lucy. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lucille (Ole) Fosdal, and an infant sister, Louise. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 30, 2011 at the Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton, with the Rev. Scott Geister-Jones officiating. Burial will then take place at Riverside Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at the Stoughton VFW Hall.
