Patricia A. Burchard (Pat, Nannie)

A lover of laundry & grocery shopping queen.

A passion for horses, birds, gardening and fishing. All things outdoors.  However, her biggest passion and love was for her family. This ultimately was her pride & joy.

Pat/Nannie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Her spicy personality, contagious laugh, modesty and humbleness made her unique and one of a kind. She lived with gratitude daily. Always leaving people better than when they met. She had a heart and soul of giving back, with an unconditional acceptance for everyone she encountered. Everyone who has been blessed to meet her, has a story on how special she made them feel.

Her ability to share stories from yesteryears and knowledge of the history of people made everyone she met feel connected to her somehow.

Born in Madison on August 25, 1928 to Gillmon and Phyllis (Kreutzer) Albrecht, she peacefully passed at her home in Waunakee on Wednesday May 12, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Pat moved to Homosassa Springs in the early 80s, but continued to spend the summer months and the month of December in Wisconsin.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan (John) Murray, Kristie (Randy) Schorr and her grandchildren Jennifer (Steve) Pavlick, Casey (Megan) Schorr, Cole (Lena) Schorr and her great grandchildren Taya Pavilick and Liam Schorr.

May her heart, energy and legacy live through all those who were blessed to be touched by her.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Pat’s life will be held from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm Friday, June 4, 2021 at the Cress Center, 6021 University Ave., Madison, WI  53705.
