Patricia J. Campbell

Campbell, Patricia J.   Verona -- Patricia J. Campbell, age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2009 at her home.   She was born on October 29, 1929 in Freeport , IL , to the parents of William Hutton and Freda Elva (Meeker) Bryant.   Pat graduated from West High School in 1947.   She was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Robert E. Campbell on May 6, 19 50 .   Pat was a collector or dolls, snowmen, lady bugs, humming birds and Betty Boop.   In her free time she enjoyed needlepoint, doing crossword puzzles and planting flowers.   Pat is survived by her loving husband of 59 years; Robert E. Campbell of Verona, four children; Karen (Dann) Juse of Hernando, FL, William Campbell of Waupaca, WI, Debra (Virgil) Schulenburg of Prairie du Sac, WI and Pamela (Steve Smith) Campbell of Fitchburg, former daughter-in-law; Elaine Shimniok of Baraboo, five grandchildren; Jennifer, Danny, Jim, Lindsey and Rebecca, eight great-grandchildren and one great grandchild.   She was preceded in death by her parents.   Funeral services will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road , on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 12 Noon .   A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.   Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.   As I'm sitting in the garden, I can sense that fall is there.   The leaves have started falling and the trees will soon be bare.   The garden will lose its color and be replaced with snow, but spring will come again soon and the flowers again will grow.
