Patricia Glennon

Patricia 'Pat' La Verne Glennon, age 88, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013. Pat was born on December 10, 1924, a daughter of the late Van Vernon and Lorena Ann Vaughn.

Family and friends were Pat's joy. She lived out her dream of wanting to be a loving, kind, and compassionate person. Pat had such a generous heart and the unique ability to make everyone she met feel special.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, James Robert Glennon, in 1997; her devoted son, James Michael Glennon in 1998; siblings, William Vaughn, and Jack Vaughn.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her children, Jeanne (Paul Cerutti) Daniels, Madison, WI, Laurie (Wes) Becker, Wheaton, IL, Teresa (Glenn) Sanders, Griffith, IN, Joel (Marilyn) Glennon, Crown Point, IN; her daughter-in-law, Carol Glennon (James) Seattle, WA; 10 loving grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; her brother, James Vaughn (Doris) of Maple Grove, MN; nieces and nephews, family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday morning, August 31, at 11:00 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 401 South Owen Drive, Madison. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare, 5395 East Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711.
