DeForest -- Patricia Kathryn Leverentz, age 63, passed away on November 3, 2009 at her home in DeForest. She was born September 29, 1946 at St. Mary's Hospital in Sparta, Wisconsin, the daughter of Lawrence and Helen (Mashak) Hemmersbach. Pat attended St. Mary's Grade School on St. Mary's Ridge and graduated from Cashton High School in 1964. She was united in marriage to Richard Leverentz on October 9, 1965 and was very happy ever since. She worked for the Clack Corporation for about 30 years in a variety of positions. Pat was a Charter President of the DeForest Area Lioness Club in 1981 and has had perfect attendance. She was also President of 27 D-1 for the Lioness in 1990-1991 and again from 1998-1999. Pat also served on the Lion's State Convention Committee and received the Melvin Jones award in 1995. She was a member of St. Olaf's Catholic Church in DeForest. Pat truly loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She and Dick loved to travel all over the United States and did so at least twice a year. Her best times were spent with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her loving husband, Dick, her daughters, Jenny Rucks and Jaclyn (Burton) Halverson; grandchildren, Lauren and Richard Rucks and Emma and Eli Halverson; sisters, Mary (Gerald) Hundt, Jean (Tom) Rachubinski and Joyce (John) Popple; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson Gunnar Halverson. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. OLAF'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 623 Jefferson Street; DeForest, Wisconsin, on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Gary A. Wankerl and Father Richard Dickman officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday, November 9, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
