Patricia Martinson

Patricia Martinson, age 61 of Waunakee died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at her home in Waunakee. The former Patricia Schwenn was born in Madison on Dec. 7, 1948 to Edward and Jeanette (Bauman) Schwenn. She married Julian Martinson on Feb. 28, 1989 and lived in Waunakee for the past 20 years. Patricia loved to garden and volunteered every year planting flowers at Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison. She was employed at UW Letters and Sciences Administration in Madison. Survivors include her husband Julian; a step-daughter Julie (Chris) Luzenski of Marshall; one brother Jerry (Mary) Schwenn of Sun Prairie; a sister Karen (Dan) Murphy of Waunakee; 2 nephews Jerry (Sindy) Schwenn and Brent Endres; 6 nieces, Amy Oberg, Lori (Todd) Grundahl, Jill Schwenn, Julie Schwenn, Danielle Endres and Brooke Endres. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Dale Schwenn. A celebration of Patricia's life will be held at Rex's Innkeeper, 301 N. Century Ave. in Waunakee on Thursday. Nov. 4, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
