Patricia Ronspiez

WAUNAKEE- Patricia “Pat” Ronspiez, age 76, died on Monday Oct. 10, 2022 at Agrace in Fitchburg. Pat was born on January 29, 1946 to Carl and Ruth Mae (Schulz) Stauffer. She married Jerry Ronspiez on June 7, 1975 in Dane, Wisconsin.

Pat had a long career in banking and worked for US Bank in Waunakee and Madison for 45 years, retiring in 2011. She enjoyed eating out with her US Bank ladies after retirement.  Pat was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Waunakee. She was the church organist for 46 years. She volunteered at church, made prayer quilts for mission outreach, and was a member of the New Horizons group and senior ladies bible study group.  Pat was a member of the Madison Beta Sigma Phi chapter and enjoyed lifelong friendships made there. Pat’s hobbies included gardening, quilting, sewing, knitting, playing organ as well as teaching piano, organ and accordion. She also performed in accordion bands and solo shows.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry; sister-in-law, Margarita Stauffer, OH; and nieces, Priscilla Paulaski and family, AZ and Carla Cave and family, OH.  She is additionally survived by brother-in-law, Jim (Kris) Ronspiez, Oregon, WI; nieces, Lori Sanderson and Kathy Severson and nephews, Michael Ronspiez and Jimmy Ronspiez all of WI.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Carl Stauffer.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 5763 County Rd. Q ,Waunakee. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. A Reception will follow in the fellowship hall.
