Patricia Sobering

Patricia Sobering nee Moran, age 86, of Waunakee, WI passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the Waunakee Manor Nursing Home. She was born on May 25, 1925 in Oregon City, OR, the daughter of James C. Moran and Gladys Triplitt. She married Simon Sobering on December 30, 1958 in Chicago, IL.

Patricia attended the University of Chicago and obtained her MSW. She worked for Newark Family Services in Newark, NJ until her retirement. She moved to Wisconsin in 2001 to be near her son.

She is survived by her son Geoffrey Sobering, daughter-in-law Denise Sobering, her brother Jerol Moran and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Simon Sobering and her parents.

A private memorial service was held in Madison, WI.
