Patrick Johnson

McFarland- Patrick A. Johnson, age 64, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Thursday, October 21, 2021.  He was born in Madison on January 17, 1957, the son of John and Margarete Johnson.  Pat owned and operated Johnson Septic Service with his brother Mike.  He worked as a custodian for the UW for over 40 years.  Pat was a dedicated fireman for McFarland Fire Department from 1977 until 1993.  He enjoyed his morning coffee with his best friend and neighbor Ron Aaron.  Pat is survived by his sons, Jeremiah (Patricia) Johnson, Peter (Brittney) Johnson, and Paul (Amanda) Johnson; grandchildren, Morgan, Brayden, Immajin, Caleb, and Abraham; brother, John (Linda) Johnson; sister, Anna Marie “AJ” Johnson; great friends; and many relatives.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Mike and James Johnson; and two nephews, Shaun James Cooley and Chessie Johnson.  Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Cress Funeral Home, 5801 Highway 51, McFarland.  Friends and relatives are invited to the McFarland American Legion Post 534 immediately following the services.  Private burial will take place at a later date.  Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until the time of services Thursday.  Please share your memories of Pat by posting on his Tribute Wall.
