Paul Rossman

Paul H. Rossman, age 77, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021. He was born on May 10, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to Earl and Marian (Bocher) Rossman. After high school, Paul went on to serve our country in the United States Navy where he was eventually honorably discharged as an E5 Petty Officer, 2nd Class.

Paul married Patricia “Pat” Makal on October 21, 1968. Together they lived their entire lives in Wisconsin, and they were members of the same church in Sun Prairie for over 45 years. Paul served there as a board member and the church treasurer for many years.

After over 25 years of dedicated service, Paul retired from 3M. For the past 20 years, Paul was self-employed in computer repair. He founded and ran Paul’s Computer Service Inc. Pat describes Paul’s later career as “his hobby that he was paid to do”. He also drove school bus for many years in order to support his community.

Paul’s heart was always open wide for those with disabilities. Paul and his wife served, for over 30 years, in many capacities with Special Touch Ministry.

Paul is survived by his wife Pat; daughters Elizabeth “Beth” (Aubrey) Crawford of Huntsville, AL; Theresa “Terri” (Toby) Steele of Beaverton, MI; 3 grandsons Caleb (Gracie) Crawford and Dillon Crawford, and Isaac Steele; and 2 granddaughters Valarie Steele and Jazmin (Dylan) Parker and brother James (Ruth) Rossman. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, and sister Peggy Panagos.

Visitation will be from 11-1:00 PM on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Focus Church, 411 North Thompson Road, Sun Prairie, WI 53590 with a Celebration of Life to begin at 1:00 PM.
