Paul Schoff

Madison - Paul Fay Schoff, age 76, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 18, 2011.

Paul was born on May 24, 1935 near Wisconsin Dells, the son of Clayton and Sylvia (Elliott) Schoff. Paul graduated from Nekoosa High School and later from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Paul married his wife Sylvia "Sally" on March 8, 1957 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Madison.

Paul worked for the State of Wisconsin for over 30 years and after retirement he worked for Schoeps Ice Cream.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia "Sally" of 54 years; 4 children, David (Renee), Paula (Doug), Peter (Renae) and Diane (Kregg); 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters, two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the American Diabetes Association, Wisconsin Lions Club, Trinity United Methodist Church or your choice of charity.

Memorial services will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Ave. Madison WI on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 3:00 PM. Pastor Marianne Cotter will officiate. A visitation will also be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
