Pauline M. Tremelling

Pauline M. Tremelling, age 79, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011 at HospiceCare, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 23, 1931 to Dietrich and Pauline (Floerke) Voigts in Platteville. She spent most of her childhood on her mother's family farm outside of Platteville. In the mid 1940s, her family moved to Linden, and she graduated from Linden High School. She loved music and played piano for school concerts and singing competitions along with playing in her church. She was united in marriage with Kenneth W. Tremelling on June 8, 1949. After living in Linden for a short period, they moved to Marshall in 1950 where they raised their 7 children. She worked for Perry Printing Corporation from 1966 to 1994 as a Mailing and Bindery Laborer. After retirement she enjoyed her family, working on genealogy and traveling. In addition to her seven children; daughters, Sherry (Glenn) Keiner of Lake Mills, Patricia (Roger) Krause of Marshall, Kathleen (Rolland) Schutz of Deerfield; sons, Richard (Mary Ellen) of Fitchburg, Kevin of Marshall, Steven (Sandy) of Lehigh Acres, FL, Barry (Megan) of Port Washington, she is survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, other family members , dear friends and beloved spiritual brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn Marie, her parents, her husband, one brother, Carlton Voigts of Madison, a great granddaughter, Jewel, and a daughter-in-law, Teresa Tremelling. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 18th, at 11:00 a.m. at CRESS FUNERAL HOME,  1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, with Kenneth Bischel and Charles McKenzie presiding. Friends may call on Thursday, February 17th,  from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday CRESS FUNERAL HOME. The family would like to express deep appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Meriter Hospital and HospiceCare for the care they provided to Pauline, and to everyone who helped contribute to Pauline's care over the past several years and provided all the loving thoughts, visits and prayers during the last week.
