Peter Swenson

MADISON/ STOUGHTON - Peter A. Swenson, born October 8, 1941 in Stoughton to Arthur (Spike) and Irene Swenson, died peacefully July 6, 2013 at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg following a long and complicated illness.

Peter married Trudy Holte and together they had one daughter, Josie. Peter worked for and retired from the Madison Fire Department.

He is survived by his daughter Josie Swenson, father-in-law Helmer Holte, sister-in-law Judy Hunter and many nephews and nieces. Peter was preceded in death by his wife Trudy, his parents Irene and Arthur, brothers Bill and Gregor, sister Nancy and mother-in-law Karen Holte.

At Peter's request a private graveside memorial will be held at a later date. Peter will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
