Phillip R. Lee

Phillip R. Lee, age 91 of Fitchburg died on Friday, October 27, 2023. Phillip was born December 3, 1931, to Raymond C. and Alma Bernice (Steensrud) Lee.  He was married to Arlene Hazeltine, who preceded him in death on May 26, 2014.  Phillip loved his dogs, watching sports, especially the Wisconsin Badgers, boating, skiing, hunting (in his early years), and eating out at Perkins almost daily.  Phillip also proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955. 

He is survived by his nephew David (Rochelle) Lee, niece Rhonda (Larry) Hathaway and their families of Barneveld and sister-in-law Sharon Lee of Black Earth.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Arlene, and brothers Vivian, Ervin, Dennis and sister-In-law Beverly Lee. 

A visitation will be held at the Cress Center, 6021 University Ave., Madison, WI. on January 14, 2023 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. with a Prayer Service to follow.  The family will honor him by having pie at Perkins which he so happily offered to bring when he joined them for the holidays.  A private burial will be held at Mazomanie Cemetery.
